Compassion
April 11, 2008
The one thing that virtually everyone recognizes about Jesus Christ was the way he showed compassion to others. Everything we see on TV and everything anyone tells about success in this world is about how much money we make or how popular we are. Jesus didn’t seek these things. Instead, he touched the people no one would touch and he loved the people that others thought were sinners. He even died for people that hated him enough to kill him.
Who are the people that you need to love and care for?
What people in your school are easy to ignore or pick on? Should you defend them instead?
What are some things you can do to make the needs of others important to you?

The number 1 thing I need to work on is my compassion towards others. I wish I could be more like a christian ( little christ). When Mrs.Kanisha told me what the definition of christian was, it touched me, I need to change my ways. The way I plan to do that is I am going to get one of my friends and read the bible and praise his holy name. I just wish someone could teach me how to show compassion to people who don’t hate me but just don’t like me or my boyfriend. I know the Lord will soon touch my mind and my heart to help me make wiser choices.

My compassion has gotten greater over the past day or so. The Lord Jesus has answer my problems and talked to me spiritually. He touched my heart and it will forever help me in my life. I have sooooooo much to thank the Lord Almighty for. I just wish He was right here so I can give Him a big hug and tell him how much I’m thankful. Oh wait I can talk to Him anytime, just one more thing to be thankful for!
