Discipline

Discipline is a hard thing to do ourselves. That is why we often need our parents or teachers to help (ouch!). The value of doing what we need to even when it is hard will take us a long way and make us a much stronger person (on the inside).
Jesus was a great example of discipline. I think of the time he spent in the garden of Gethsemane and how he sweat blood knowing that he would have to suffer and die such a gruesome death. He was still willing to go through it though. I think it is amazing that someone could endure so much pain and suffering for someone else, especially someone like me.
We all need to know we are loved. The discipline of Jesus shows us that we are loved. Our discipline will help us tell the story of Jesus when it is hard or unpopular. I know that I have put Jesus in charge of my discipline when I can say, “I can do what I need to even when it is hard.”

mr mike i have a new thing for church.The kids one by one should get in the main room of the church and we should all should have just one big fun night. not like a party but a night of songs and games!!!!!

i love the lighthouse,we need to make sure that everyone knows about God. God is our leader of the universe.And the lighthouse is a good place to learn about God an pluse everyone knows each other. Some people dont want to go to church,but i do, and every one should want to i mean,you get to talk about God,whats better than that?…nothig,nothing in the world.p.s i love the light house!

i like the lighthouse kids because we can goof around, meet new friends, and best of all we can learn about jesus. Some people can’t even go to church because its illegal. So i think we should invite more people to church and spread his word to people who don’t have churches. I love lighthousekids.

i love coming to church we get to talk to friends and dance. I AM GOING to start asking my friends if they would start coming to chuch. im starting to read the bible alot more lately and pray more,i pray for everybody even the bad people we pray for them cause we dont want them to do any bad stuff.And we should be alot more grateful sometimes i wish i was not in this world but then again we should love life and be gratful for what we have cause just think about the starving kids in afraca and countries were its ilegel to go to church .be lukcy we can go to church
